Sustainable Travel in Kazakhstan.
We are aware of the relationship between travel and sustainability. And we realize that not or minimal travelling is the most sustainable. If you still want to see other parts of the world, such as Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries, then you have come to the right place.

You will probably arrive in Kazakhstan by plane. By train from Europe is also possible, and adventurous, but you will need considerably more time for your vacation. If you want to visit the countries by plane, and we will provide the tickets, you can indicate if you want us to book a CO2 surcharge.

In Kazakhstan, most attractions can only be reached by car. There is an excellent network of trains between the cities. Like the Talgo express train between Almaty and Nur-Sultan – with WiFi! Where possible, we use trains and therefore recommend that way of transportation.

In the countryside we use homestays where possible. We prefer to use these to support the villagers economically. It must be said that the number of homestays in Kazakhstan is not yet particularly large, although increasing. For a homestay trip, it is better to visit neighboring Kyrgyzstan. (we also offer).
