Uzbekistan in 8 days

Uzbekistan in 8 days

A roundtour Uzbekistan, visiting the four most important cities; 'Soviet' city and present-day capital of the country Tashkent, plus the legendary historic cities (towns) of Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand. In addition you will pass through and stay two different deserts, stay a night in a yurt and have the chance to swim in a large desert lake.
The program offered is intense and packed with excursions, offering you a lot of chances to learn and enjoy the rich history of these places. Unlike the Kazakhs, the Uzbeks have always been sedentary people and have built wonderful cities in different periods. Most of the buildings that you'll admire on this tour stem from the period ot Timur and his grandson Ulugbek (14th-15th centuries).
