The Golden Ring Almaty

Almaty and surroundings remain the most popular region for travellers - and with good reason. It's here that you'll find on a relatively small territory all Kazakhstani landscapes as well as memories of the past.
The presence of Almaty International Airport contribute to the fact the touristic infrastructure here is better than in most other parts of Kazakhstan.

(For those that long for rest and empty lands: don't worry, also in the Almaty Province you'll encounter plenty of those...).

The route 'The Golden Ring' brings you to the most interesting and most beautiful places of the region. You visit the national park Altyn Emel, with remarkable mountain ranges, wildlife and even remains of the Scythian Period.

Your tour continues to the Charyn Canyon, to the Kolsai Lakes and other lovely spots in the Almaty vicinity.

You will hike a lot and mostly stay in small guesthouses and hotels, with a few nights in tents.
